Meet Dr. Stefanie Lopacinski

I’m so glad you found me. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of providing individual and group therapy to individuals, couples, and families. After experiencing a traumatic pregnancy loss resulting in emergency surgery to save my life, I made a life-changing personal and career decision to specialize in Perinatal Mental Health. After having spent 5 years in a Philadelphia area hospital, I knew it was time for me to open a private practice to support Women, Mothers, and their families, experiencing challenges in the Perinatal and Reproductive realm.

I take pride in quickly gaining rapport with my patients and my goal has always been, “I hope to see you leave feeling a tiny bit better than you walked in.” This does not mean your concerns go away, but it does mean that you will leave my office with a bit more knowledge, validation that there is nothing wrong with you, and that your thoughts, although scary, do not define you as a Woman or Mother. It turns out, a big component of therapy is learning that your thoughts are not as uncommon as you think. Speaking these thoughts out loud to someone trained in Perinatal Mental Health is freeing.

For those who have experienced the gut-wrenching loss of a Pregnancy or baby, I am here to support you through this difficult time. No matter if the pregnancy was planned or unplanned, pregnancy losses are very real losses, no matter how far along, and talking to a trained Perinatal Therapist can help.
